Working together for change

On 30 July in Dnipro, the National Network for the Development of Local Philanthropy Philanthropists, with the support and funding of the Humanitarian NGO Platform in Ukraine, held a Meeting for Change.

The Meeting for Change is an event that brings together international donors and partners who are ready to support our country and local Ukrainian NGOs. It is a space for creating new equal partnerships that can accelerate the process of localisation in Ukraine and ensure the sustainability of the future development of the NGO sector.

What happened.
-presentations in the format of local talks, which revealed the peculiarities of the activities of organisations at the local level;
-Panel discussion ‘The Way to Change’, during which the risks and challenges on the way to rebuilding and restoring local communities were discussed;
-Networking – a communication format where local organisations could present their ideas to international partners, discuss future cooperation, and exchange contacts.

Such meetings help to form a common vision of development, which contributes to the effective implementation of projects, provides new opportunities, contacts and many ideas.
